The purpose for the Positive Action program is to combat the rising problem of depression, drugs, alcohol and low Self – Esteem which are tearing apart our school systems, our communities and ultimately our world. Teenage suicide and attempts are constantly on the rise all over the United States and the children are looking to us as educators and community leaders for answers, and we are fighting for a solution. I believe that children are like cement, when they are young they are pliable and able to be shaped and molded, we need to let them know how valuable they are before they get older and harden and it’s too late. I believe that “It’s better to prepare a child’s life, than to repair the broken lives of men and women!”

When your school hosts a “Positive Action” assembly the children will be taught that they are valuable and have a destiny. And no matter what has or has not happened to them so far, they can do whatever they put their mind to, and if they are willing to apply themselves and receive guidance they will be a success. This will be conveyed through powerful dramas, puppets, object lessons, and old fashion fun, with this central theme. From start to finish, the students will be riveted to the assembly by Eric’s exciting and vibrant teaching techniques, clever props and unique style.

Eric attended Oral Roberts University, in Tulsa, Oklahoma and has been involved in Children’s Education and Ministry since 1988. His Experience includes working for Tulsa Public Schools in the area of dealing with discipline problems at the elementary level, and several churches in Oklahoma and Ohio. Currently Eric is the president and founder of Hamp International Ministries in Port Clinton, Ohio.
